Reassessment

Students have the opportunity to improve their mathematics placement score by taking up to two ALEKS reassessments. Prior to the reassessments, students are required to work five hours in their ALEKS learning module before each reassessment. The learning module allows students to practice mathematics skills at their own pace as they advance through different topics within their assessment pie chart. Students who achieve 80% mastery of their pie chart have an excellent chance of improving their placement score on a reassessment.

Students may take a reassessment either remotely or face-to-face on campus. All remote ALEKS reassessments require the use of Respondus LockDown-Monitor. To access an ALEKS Mathematics Reassessment remotely, follow the same general directions as for the initial ALEKS Mathematics Placement Assessment: Go to Flashline>Student>Resources>Placement Assessments>Math>Take your ALEKS Math Assessment, Reassessment.  View this document for screenshots.

For those preferring an on campus reassessment please view campus-specific testing information. Please register

For more information about the ALEKS reassessment, visit the Testing and Placement Department's webpage on reassessment.
