We strive to make education and campus facilities accessible to all. This page includes visual building maps and text that indicates the accessible features of Founders Hall and the Science & Advanced Technology Center.

Parking

Disability placard parking spots are available in parking lots A, B, and D.

Founders Hall

  • Exterior Entry Doors with openers
    • Main entrance to lobby off Parking Lot A
    • Entrance near Bookstore 
    • Entrance to Engineering Technology
    • Entrance to the Business Administration offices
  • Fully Accessible Restrooms
    • A wing 1st floor, rooms A1011 and A1012, left of the lobby and around the corner by the elevator and stairwell
    • Hallway between the lobby and the Student Union (past the C wing hallways, near the bookstore), rooms E100 and E102
  • Universal Restrooms
    • Hallway between the library entrance and the vending area rooms D1021 and D1022
    • In the hallway beside the gymnasium
  • Drinking Fountains and water bottle filling stations
    • 1st and 2nd floor of A wing, near the elevator and restrooms (fountain only)
    • Hallway between the library entrance and the vending area (fountain and bottle filling station)
    • Student union near the patio and Study Lounge (fountain and bottle filling station)
    • Engineering Technology wing by restrooms
  • Lactation Room
    • Located in C wing hallway between lobby and bookstore, room D104
  • Classrooms and Computer Labs
    • All classrooms have at least one desk that is accessible for wheelchair users
    • All computer labs have at least workstation that is accessible for wheelchair users (some computer labs have automatic buttons to raise or lower the workstation)
  • Office Entry
    • Bookstore, Café, Library, Dean’s Office, and Assistant Dean’s Office doors are open during normal business hours
    • Student Services has accessible door opener buttons
    • The entrance to the faculty area that is across from the gymnasium has an accessible door opener button
  • Designated Evacuation Assistance Location
    • For individuals who are unable to use the stairs during an evacuation that does not permit elevator usage, please wait for assistance in room A220 (A208 if 220 is not available).

Science & Advanced Technology Center

  • Exterior Entry Doors with openers
    • The main entrance off Parking Lot A has accessible doors (the leftmost door)
  • Fully Accessible Restrooms
    • Both 1st floor, rooms 100D and 100G, and 2nd floor, rooms 200D and 200G, restrooms are accessible. Restrooms are located near the atrium
  • Universal Restroom
    • 1st floor, room 103C located at the end of hallway by Advanced Technology Center
  • Drinking Fountains and water bottle filling stations
    • All fountains are accessible for wheelchair users
  • Classrooms
    • All classrooms have at least one desk that is accessible for wheelchair users
  • Office Entry
    • The nursing office doors all open during regular office hours
  • Designated Evacuation Assistance Location
    • For individuals who are unable to use the stairs during an evacuation that does not permit elevator usage, please wait for assistance in room 200-Vending Lounge (219 if lounge is not available).
