Aeronautics Center under construction

FedEx Corp. has pledged $5 million, in addition to $1.5 million already given, in support of an aeronautics academic center that will be located at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Airport. The new 17,800-square-foot building will be named the FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Libraries’ May 4, 1970 Collection has been selected by the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) to benefit from a $30,561 award through the Recordings at Risk grant program, generously funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ will hold the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970, where protesting students, observers and soldiers gathered on that fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the Kent Campus.
