First-year students read May 4 books for the Common Reading Experience.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Common Reading Experience is an opportunity for first-year students to read university-selected books and share a common experience with their peers. The goal is for freshmen to gain an understanding of the university’s values and to build and maintain relationships that foster success with faculty, administration and staff.

Cavs Legion Gaming Club (GC), the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has teamed up with Â鶹ÊÓƵ Esports in a unique new partnership designed to help grow and strengthen the local gaming community in Northeast Ohio, as well as promote the university’s newly launched collegiate esports program.

Diacon expressed his desire to increase enrollment, keep Â鶹ÊÓƵ affordable, continue a strong relationship with the city of Kent, honor the legacy of May 4 and advance the university’s Gateway Master Plan for redeveloping the front of campus.

Occupational therapy assistant is a growing career field.

Targeted at widening students’ educational opportunities in preparing them for a career in occupational therapy, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ at Ashtabula Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Technology program recently announced the creation of a hybrid model, combining online learning with more convenient on-campus laboratory sessions.
