Â鶹ÊÓƵ

About Us

Music has been part of the fabric of Â鶹ÊÓƵ for over 100 years, starting with the first head of the department Anne Maud Shamel and the first classes of special music students. Today, the Glauser School of Music celebrates its past while looking toward the future.

Areas of Study

At the Glauser School, there are eight main areas of study: composition and theory, conducting, ethnomusicology and world music, general music studies, jazz, music education, music technology, and music performance. Within these areas of study, students have the opportunity to specialize in concentrations tailored for their unique interests and career path.
