Undergraduate Students

Introducing KSU Navigate

KSU Navigate is a new student success platform designed to empower you to achieve your personal goals and academic success. KSU Navigate allows you to schedule and check-in for advising appointments. This new platform replaces the process previously used. KSU Navigate is available to students and staff via browser or the app store (Android and iOS).

Getting started with KSU Navigate is easy. Get the app and Get Started.  

  • Visit the KSU Navigate website to get started.
    • Download the KSU Navigate app for iOS or Android.
    • Access KSU Navigate on your mobile device or on a web browser.
  • On the kent.edu/ksunavigate website you can view:
    • How do I get started and get the app
    • How do I use this new tool (Video to get the app and schedule an appointment) 
 

Graduate Students

You can locate your advisor’s name by logging into FlashLine, selecting Student / Dashboard from the main menu, and looking under the Student Profile section.

 

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled up to two weeks in advance. New appointments times become available daily. You can schedule an in-person or virtual advising appointments by following the prompts and correctly answering all the questions. Virtual appointments are available via Microsoft Teams. Be sure to use your KSU email address when scheduling your appointment.

Scheduled Appointments

In-person and virtual advising appointments are available. You will be given the option to select your appointment format when scheduling an appointment. In-person appointments will be offered in Rockwell Hall for Fashion students, and Cartwright Hall for Music, Theatre, Dance, and Art students. Virtual appointments will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. DO NOT SKIP THE QUESTIONS. If you have a quick question or have an immediate concern, please e-mail your Academic Advisor for assistance.

Walk-In Advising (Fashion Students Only)

Walk-in advising is available in person in Rockwell Hall for School of Fashion majors only. This advising service is meant for questions that can be addressed in a 10–15-minute time frame (e.g., current term concerns or course recommendations for next term). For more time with an advisor, schedule a 30-minute appointment. 

  • Weekly every Wednesday (hours vary per week)
  • Sign up process: Visit us in-person in room 222 of Rockwell Hall to sign in. Time slots are available on a first come basis.
  • We accept sign-ups until the list is full. Sign Up sheet is made available at 7:30am on Wednesdays.
  • Advising format: In-person Only
