The Aeronautics and Technology Building and the Center for Undergraduate Excellence were both dedicated during events leading up to Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Beverly Warren’s inauguration. The former will serve as the home for the College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology. The latter will be the home of the new University College.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ continues to be recognized for its excellence in online education, earning high marks in U.S. News & World Report’s newly released 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. U.S. News recognizes Â鶹ÊÓƵ in the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online Master’s in Education Programs, Best Online Master’s in Business Programs and Best Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs lists.
This year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ will hold the 55th commemoration honoring the memory of May 4, 1970, a tragic day when the Ohio National Guard fired on Â鶹ÊÓƵ students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students, wounding nine others and sparking a turning point in American history. Kicking off the program for the annual May 4 Commemoration is a play that focuses on student activism and book bans.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees endorsed the 2024 University Remediation Report at its Dec. 12 meeting. The report provides a comprehensive overview of student remediation at the university.
