�鶹��Ƶ continues to be recognized for its excellence in online education, earning high marks in U.S. News & World Report’s newly released 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. The university’s online programs have been ranked among the best in the nation, reflecting �鶹��Ƶ’s commitment to providing high-quality, accessible education.

U.S. News recognizes �鶹��Ƶ in the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online Master’s in Education Programs, Best Online Master’s in Business Programs and Best Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs lists in its new 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. Three of the university’s online programs rank in the top 100 among all private and public institutions in the country.

�鶹��Ƶ’s online master’s in nursing program offered by the College of Nursing ranks No. 58 on this year’s list, making it once again the highest-ranked program among all public and private institutions in northern Ohio.

“The faculty, staff and academic advisors at �鶹��Ƶ College of Nursing are fully committed to the success of our graduate students,” said Versie Johnson-Mallard, Ph.D., �鶹��Ƶ’s College of Nursing dean and Henderson Memorial Endowed Leadership Chair. “Recognizing that many of our students are working professionals fuels our dedication to supporting their journey throughout their program of study. Our graduate students are not only competent nurses, but also lifelong learners who are advancing their education.

“We are incredibly proud of our �鶹��Ƶ nursing students and deeply grateful for their contributions to the nursing profession,” she continued. “As they continue their studies, they are preparing to become safe, competent and highly educated advanced practitioners, leaders, administrators and educators.”

The online master’s in education programs offered by the College of Education, Health and Human Services ranks No. 63, the highest ranking for a public institution in northern Ohio on this year’s list.

The university’s online master’s in business programs moved up 18 spots to land at No. 79 on this year’s list, the highest ranking among all institutions in Northeast Ohio. Lastly, the university’s online MBA program ranks No. 122 on the 2025 U.S. News list, making it the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio. Both the online master’s in business programs and the online MBA program are offered by �鶹��Ƶ’s Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

�鶹��Ƶ is a pioneer in online education, providing its first online programs more than 15 years ago. �鶹��Ƶ offers more than 90 fully online degree programs, including undergraduate, graduate and certificates. At �鶹��Ƶ, 67% of its students are engaged in online learning by taking at least one online course, and more than 10% of its students were enrolled exclusively in fully online programs, embracing the flexibility and quality of �鶹��Ƶ’s online programs for the 2023-2024 academic year. Enrollment in �鶹��Ƶ’s online courses continues to grow each year, achieving new record highs.

To be considered for inclusion on the Best Online Programs list, which is now in its 13th year, U.S. News evaluated schools based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies. The  is designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education. This year’s edition evaluates more than 1,600 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs using metrics specific to online learning. The rankings only include degree-granting programs offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.
