Universität Bern, Switzerland - ISEP
is located in the city of Bern, founded in 1191, one of the most splendid examples of medieval town architecture in Europe. The city is safe and attracts young people with its many bars, restaurants and theaters. The city is green and offers a variety of outdoor activities, including skiing in winter and swimming in the Aare River and various city swimming pools in summer. Bern is the capital of Switzerland and is situated in the center of the country and Europe. Zurich, Basel, Lausanne and the Bernese Swiss Alps are all within an hour by train.
The historic roots of the University of Bern go back to 1528. The study programs cover fields from economics and social science, humanities, sciences, law, medicine and veterinary medicine, human sciences and theology. German majors are encouraged to enroll in courses at the Institute of Germanic Languages and Literatures. Students with advanced German Language levels can also elect to take most courses taught in German. The University regularly schedules trips for hiking, mountain climbing, paragliding and skiing. International students can also participate in sports teams, clubs, and organizations on campus.

This study abroad experience is run through the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), a network of over 250 institutions in over 50 countries. 鶹Ƶ and ISEP have had a partnership for over 10 years. This partnership allows KSU students to apply to any of their programs.
