Luleå University of Technology, Sweden - ISEP
’s main campus is located approximately three miles from downtown Luleå. The city center of Luleå is located on a peninsula where the Lule River flows into the Gulf of Bothnia. Founded in 1621, the city is the administrative center of Sweden's most northern province. It has a lively cultural life and is the home of nationally elite hockey and basketball teams. For sports and outdoor enthusiasts, Scandinavia's best class ski slopes are directly adjacent to the university campus, while weekly basketball and ice hockey matches provide countless entertainment for everyone. In the Luleå/Pitea area, sailing is a popular outdoor activity, as is cross-country and downhill skiing at one of the area's two nearby ski slopes. In addition, the mountains of Lappland with marvelous hiking trails and ski resorts are less than six hours away by car. Stockholm is approximately an hour away by air.
