Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), Mexico - ISEP
is located in the vibrant city of Guadalajara, the capital of Mexico’s Jalisco state. The city is not only an important industrial, commercial and financial center for Mexico, it is also a cultural hub and is considered to be the birthplace of tequila and Mariachi music. In the historic city center, students can marvel at the gorgeous colonial architecture, relax in one of the picturesque plazas and green parks, or pay a visit to one of the numerous museums, theaters and galleries. The combination of modern amenities with rich history, traditions and culture make Guadalajara an ideal location to live and study.
Courses at ITESO are taught in Spanish in areas of study including business, communication, engineering, hospitality and tourism, global studies, social sciences, arts, and more. ISEP students immerse themselves in Mexican culture and daily life by taking university classes with local students and living with a host family or independently in the community. At ITESO, students can participate in internships, volunteering opportunities and service-learning projects alongside their studies. The university also organizes excursions, cultural events and art programs for international students to learn more about Mexican culture. As an ISEP student, you have the opportunity to be matched with an ITESO "buddy" to help you adjust to life in Guadalajara.
