Contactless Mobile Tickets

Entering the venue is now easier than ever with contactless mobile tickets. Simply “Tap & Go” to enter games with your smartphone.

HOW TO USE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETING

  1. ADD to your mobile wallet: 
    Add your mobile ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet by tapping the link you received via email or text message. Next, tap on G PAY - SAVE TO PHONE or ADD TO APPLE WALLET. Do this as soon as possible to receive important game updates like changes to start time or venue.
  2. ACCESS your ticket:
    As you approach the entrance, open your Apple or Google wallet and select the ticket. Some iPhones will notify you to access your ticket. In that case, tap on the notification to pull up your ticket.
  3. PRESENT and go 
    At the gate, present your ticket to the attendant by holding your smartphone close to the scanner. If you have multiple tickets for the event, swipe left or right to view each ticket.

IPHONE: HOW TO USE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETING

  1. You’ll receive an email and/or a text message. Using your smartphone, open the email and tap on the link to access the tickets.
  2. On the ticket access page, tap the ADD TO APPLE WALLET link to open Apple Wallet and tap NEXT in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Choose AUTOMATICALLY SELECT t and then DONE in the upper right-hand corner to add the ticket(s) to your wallet.
  4. Ready To Scan! You’ll see the ticket(s) when you open your wallet. After a ticket has been added to your wallet, it will be available on your Apple watch (must be iCloud connected to your iPhone).

     

ANDROID: HOW TO USE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETING

  1. You’ll receive an email and/or a text message. Using your smartphone, open the email and tap on the link to access the tickets.
  2. On the ticket access page, tap the Add to Google Wallet link to open Google Wallet app and tap the ADD button to add the ticket(s) to Google Wallet. NOTE: If you don’t have the Google Wallet App installed on your smartphone, you’ll be prompted to install it when attempting to save your ticket(s) to Google Wallet.
  3. You’ll see the ticket(s) when you tap the VIEW IN WALLET button.
  4. Ready To Scan!

WHAT ARE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS?

Contactless mobile tickets are tickets that you add to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet app. They are similar to traditional event tickets but are easier to use and more secure. Mobile Tickets communicate with a scanner wirelessly by holding your smartphone close to a ticket scanner similar to how your smartphone makes an Apple or Google payment.

 

HOW DO CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS WORK?

  1. You will receive one email with one link per event.      All tickets for the same event will be in one link. (For example, if you purchased four tickets, all four tickets will be in one link.)
  • We recommend that you transfer tickets to other members of your party so each individual holds a ticket
  • If any copies are made of the ticket, only the first scan of the barcode will be allowed entry. If a unique barcode has already been scanned, the attendant will be alerted and entry will not be permitted.
  1. The ticket that is sent to you is a valid ticket. Make sure you protect it like you would any other ticket. Each ticket contains a unique barcode that is scanned at the event.

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS?

Mobile Tickets are convenient to use. You can add the ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet app on your smartphone and easily access it when you arrive at the Stadium. iPhone users will see a lock screen notification, ‘tap’ the notification, and present your ticket.

 

ARE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS THE SAME AS A PRINTED TICKET?

Each mobile ticket should be treated like any other valid ticket. Mobile tickets are individually scanned allowing one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell copies of the mobile tickets may result in being refused admission to the event. This provides heightened security by Identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.

 

HOW DO I GET CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS?

Mobile Tickets are emailed or sent by text to you. You can also access your tickets by logging in to your account. If you are using an Android smartphone, Google Wallet must be your default wallet. If NFC is disabled on your smartphone, you will need to check your settings for your specific device to enable it.

 

HOW DO I USE CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS?

Using your Mobile Tickets on your smartphone is as simple as setting up Apple Pay or Google Wallet on your smartphone. Once complete, add Mobile Tickets to your wallet. Tap the link to add your tickets to your mobile wallet as soon as you receive the email or text to be alerted to changes in the venue or start of event time.

 

WHY HAVE I NOT I RECEIVED MY CONTACTLESS MOBILE TICKETS?

Your tickets should also be delivered via a link in an email. If your email has not arrived:

  1. Make sure you have used the correct email address.
  2. Check your junk mail folder.
  3. Make sure that your spam guard and junk mail settings allow you to receive emails with attachments.
  4. Be sure to add our email address, tickets@kent.edu, to your list of trusted email addresses. Please set your email to accept attachments.
  5. Please allow at least one hour for your emails to arrive.

Alternatively, your tickets also show up in your account within a few minutes. Log into your account, access your tickets there, and add them into your mobile wallet.
