Finals Week De-Stressing for Students Includes Doggie Therapy, Massages and Snacks

Students can de-stress during finals week with doggie therapy, massages and snacks in the Academic Learning Commons (ALC).

Special stress-reducing events are scheduled Mon., Dec. 9, through Thurs., Dec. 12. Monday’s schedule includes All Together Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m., Therapy dogs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and favorite sitcoms playing in Founders Hall Auditorium throughout the day. Tuesday is Pajama Day and students can enjoy Christmas movies in the auditorium. Therapy dogs and free massages will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Therapy dogs return again Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., massages will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Primal Scream will start at noon.

Finals week de-stressing also features a multitude of snacks, crafting, coloring pages, board games, and the Zen room throughout the week. The event is sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Government and the ALC.
