U.S. News & World Report has named four Â鶹ÊÓƵ programs as U.S. News Best Online Programs for 2021. Â鶹ÊÓƵ is recognized in the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online MBA Programs, Best Online MBA – Business Analytics Programs and Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings.

Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

Â鶹ÊÓƵ will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate King’s life and legacy. Serving as this year’s keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Giving Tuesday Results

Despite the economic impact of COVID-19, alumni, friends, faculty and staff came together to raise $2.2 million to support more than 2,300 students.

Campus Pride has released its 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the first time in school history, Â鶹ÊÓƵ has landed on the distinctive list as one of 40 institutions recognized over six U.S. regions.

More than 21,200 people applied to be part of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Class of 2024, and 3,819 can now consider themselves to be Golden Flashes.

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities has selected Â鶹ÊÓƵ as one of four finalists for the association’s 2020 Degree Completion Award. The annual award works to identify, recognize and reward institutions that employ innovative approaches to improve degree completion while ensuring educational quality.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has won a Best in Class award for supplier diversity from the Greater Cleveland Partnership. This marks the third time that the university has received this award. As a multiyear winner of the Best in Class awards, Â鶹ÊÓƵ is also named to the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Equity and Inclusion Hall of Fame.
