Father and son complete first flight together

A father and son, both Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni, graduates of the professional pilot program in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, recently achieved a remarkable milestone. Scott and Kyle Koeppl completed their first flight together as Southwest Airlines pilots.

Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose Â鶹ÊÓƵ because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

Most recently, as she prepared for graduation, McGreal shared her thoughts about her journey with an inspiring message for other Â鶹ÊÓƵ students.

In 2020, Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Todd Diacon announced to a group of high school juniors and their families that Â鶹ÊÓƵ would cover four years of tuition costs and one year of room and board. Now, for the LeBron James Family Foundation’s first I PROMISE class, the hard work these students had put in since third grade is paying off.

As a young refugee, Yun "Mi Mi" Khaing, a recent Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate, has not only overcome significant challenges during her time in the United States, but she’s also helping others in similar circumstances.
