Homecoming

Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to save the date for one of the university’s long-standing traditions. Â鶹ÊÓƵ will celebrate Homecoming 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Now that the fall semester at Â鶹ÊÓƵ is in full force, we are excited to announce that two of our most anticipated traditions will be held during the month of October. (Photo from Homecoming 2019)

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their Â鶹ÊÓƵ days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with Â鶹ÊÓƵ pride.

New Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Todd Diacon will serve as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Last year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ celebrated 100 years of Homecoming. This year, the university starts the next century of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Homecoming celebrations with a new president leading the institution.
