When she signed up for the Kigali Summer Institute in Rwanda, Â鶹ÊÓƵ senior Emily Spencer, thought it would be a good training ground for humanitarian work she hopes to perform in the future. When she returned from the three-week course, she felt significantly changed. 

Four staff members from the National Police College in Rwanda have begun their studies as graduate students at Â鶹ÊÓƵ this semester.

Large numbers of international graduate students are boosting enrollment of both international students and graduate students.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate and award-winning photojournalist Matthew Thayer has spent the past 43 years in Hawaii, working as a photojournalist for The Maui News newspaper. When Thayer was sent out to cover horse evacuations from the upcountry fires on Maui on Aug. 8, he never expected he would end up covering one of the worst natural disasters in Hawaii’s history.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Paris American Academy will not be open for students for fall 2023, but the program will resume operations in Paris, France, in January 2024. The students who registered for fall 2023 classes at the Paris American Academy can attend the New York City Fashion campus or Â鶹ÊÓƵ Florence in Italy.
