Â鶹ÊÓƵ at Stark faculty and staff gathered in the Campus Center to recognize the 2016 Staff Excellence Award recipients.

Many international student-athletes say that Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has gone above and beyond to make their transition to the U.S. as comfortable as possible.

More than 150 supporters came together to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Â鶹ÊÓƵ at Trumbull Theatre. Special guests included many current and former professors, players and patrons.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ holds its 46th annual commemoration of May 4, 1970, with events taking place through May 4. The annual commemoration, hosted by the May 4 Task Force, provides an opportunity for the university community to gather and remember those who were lost and injured during the tragedy and also reflect on what May 4 means today.

Two Â鶹ÊÓƵ researchers from the College of Arts and Sciences have been awarded more than $1 million in federal grants for their research projects.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Research Center for Educational Technology is offering a series of technology camps for children beginning June 13. The camps will offer a range of media and tools including LEGO® Education WeDo Robotics, animation, programming, coding and design.

For its continued support of the organization’s cause and dedication to improving the quality of life in the region, Â鶹ÊÓƵ at Ashtabula was presented with the Live United Award by the United Way of Ashtabula County at its annual volunteer breakfast and awards ceremony.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Student Recreation and Wellness Center was the site for an epic struggle between nations and continents as 11 international teams gathered to vie for the 2016 Â鶹ÊÓƵ Global Cup in soccer.
