Scholarships

We encourage serious students to get involved with volunteering in the ENLoK early on in your undergraduate career. Building research experience can position you to apply for a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship when you have one or two years left of undergraduate study at Kent. The Goldwater Scholarship supports outstanding students who are interested in STEM careers and who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in the natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering (for details see ). The scholarship covers undergraduate-related expenses for tuition, fees, books, and housing up to $7,500 per academic year for up to 2 years. You can read more about the Goldwater Scholarship by visiting KSU's Goldwater website (/honors/goldwater-scholarship). If you've been helping out in the ENLoK and meet the scholarship eligibility criteria, please speak with Dr. Kalkhoff or Dr. Pollock about the possibility of applying.
