Giving Opportunities
Philanthropic support from generous donors has been an important part of the Porthouse Theatre story since it was founded. Donations allow Porthouse Theatre to produce affordable, accessible and high-quality summer theatre productions that benefit students, professional artist and the Northeast Ohio community.
All donations and sponsorships directly support Porthouse Theatre but here are a few ways in which your donation can make an impact:
Company Expenses
Donations support operational expenses to hire and train the talented company members that bring Porthouse Theatre to life each summer.
Capital Improvements and Ground Maintenance
Contributions fund maintenance of our 127-acre complex, including three permanent buildings and two picnic pavilions, which is an ongoing need. Annual expenses also include landscaping and continued improvement for ease of access for all visitors.
Porthouse Academy
Support will increase the number of multi-week theatre intensive workshops for high. School and incoming or current college students as they develop musical theatre skills, expand interest in theatre design and technology and jumpstart their careers.
