Cuyahoga Falls, OH - Porthouse Theatre, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s outdoor, summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, will celebrate its 46th season with productions of My Fair Lady, Starmites and Oliver!
My Fair Lady, directed by Porthouse Theatre Artistic Director Terri Kent, opens June 13 and runs through June 28. A preview performance will take place on June 12. My Fair Lady, one of the most exquisite musicals ever written, follows the transformation of Eliza Doolittle from cockney flower girl to sophisticated lady. The musical is adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s play and Gabriel Pascal’s motion picture Pygmalion with book and lyrics by Alan J. Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Performances are June 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 at 8pm and June 15 and 22 at 2pm.
Starmites, directed by Michael McIntosh, opens July 4 and runs through July 19. A preview performance will take place on July 3. Starmites, a musical for all ages, is a high-energy fantasy in which humans and heroes discover love, loyalty, inner strength and a great doo-wop beat as they conquer the sinister inhabitants of Innerspace. Music and lyrics are by Barry Keating and Stuart Ross. Performances are July 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 at 8pm and July 6 and 13 at 2pm.
Oliver!, directed by Porthouse Theatre Artistic Director Terri Kent, opens July 25 and runs through August 10. A preview performance will take place on July 24. Oliver! is a musical classic that will engage you in the pathos and drama and whose outstanding musical numbers will leave you asking for more. Music, lyrics and book by Lionel Bart. Oliver! is licensed by arrangement with Oliver Productions, Ltd. and Oliver Promotions, Ltd. Performances are July 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31 at 8pm, August 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 at 8pm, and July 27 and August 3, 9, and 10 at 2pm.

Sunday Weekend Series (choose one of two sets of Sunday show dates): Gold Center $75, adults $66, seniors $60, and students $48. Weekday Series (choose one of two sets of show dates on either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday): Gold Center $78, adults $69, seniors $63 and students $48.
Special rates for groups of 20 or more are available, as are student rates. Single tickets, ranging from $28 - $37 for adults and seniors and $16 - $24 for students, will go on sale on May 27, 2014.
