Bowman Breakfast Returns
The fall 2021 Bowman Breakfast will be held in person on Aug. 31. This year’s Bowman Breakfast guest speaker is Randale L. Richmond, 鶹Ƶ’s new director of Athletics. For more than 55 years, leaders from 鶹Ƶ and the city of Kent have met over breakfast to foster successful collaboration between the university and the city for the semi-annual Bowman Breakfast. The breakfast brings together leaders from 鶹Ƶ and the city of Kent in a forum designed to advance community issues and strengthen the town-gown relationship. Stay tuned for registration details!
A New Place to Skate
Kent’s already cool downtown just got a lot cooler! In a joint partnership with the City of Kent and 鶹Ƶ, a new outdoor ice-skating rink will open downtown for campus and community members. The new rink will be located on Erie Street between the Kent Hotel and the PARTA Parking Ramp and will be open Nov. 20 through the end of February.
We hope you will take advantage and enjoy as many of these activities as possible.
