Starting in January 2022, 鶹Ƶ TAC is offering workforce development classes to residents in and around Twinsburg. Courses focus on QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, social media, and other leadership development skills. Get more details.
College of Arts Presents "Art Without Limits"
The College of the Arts will present Art Without Limits on Friday, February 4, 2022 in the DI Hub. The day-long event will focus on arts entrepreneurship and developing an entrepreneurial mindset in the arts.
Speakers will share their experiences and interact with the attendees to hone skills and broaden networks. The event is free, and those in Northeast Ohio are encouraged to attend in-person. For those unable to attend in-person, streaming options will be available.

鶹Ƶ Hosts Free Electronics Recycling Event
Free Electronics Recycling: March 2, 9, 16, AND 23
The 2022 E-Cycle Drive at 鶹Ƶ is open to students, faculty, staff and the Kent community. Electronics recycling will be open on March 2, 9, 16, and 23, from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the 鶹Ƶ R-17 Parking lot between S. Willow and S. Lincoln Streets. The entire community can recycle used electronics through Infinite Electronics Recycling, LLC, an R2 certified recycler that handles materials in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
Materials permitted at E-Cycle Drive include: flat screen TVs and docking stations, personal and laptop computers, servers and storage devices, monitors (CRT, LCD), floppy drives, DVD/CD burners, VCRs, circuit boards, scanners, copiers, printers, cables, wires, extension cords, digital cameras, cellular phones, DVD players, network and telecom equipment, game consoles, string lights and small kitchen appliances. Kitchen appliances larger than a microwave are not accepted at E-Cycle Drive.
All participants are requested to wear a mask, as all items will be placed in large boxes. 鶹Ƶ staff will not remove items from vehicles and will watch from a distance. For more information about E-Cycle Drive please visit: /sustainability/e-cycle-drive
E-Cycle Drive is hosted by 鶹Ƶ’s University Facilities Management and the Office of Sustainability. The public electronics recycling drop-off event contributes to 鶹Ƶ’s standings in the Campus Race to Zero Waste competition. This is the 13th year 鶹Ƶ is competing in Campus Race to Zero Waste.
Thank you to community members who recycled electronics last year! In 2021, community members’ electronics recycling contributed to 鶹Ƶ winning the Campus Race to Zero Waste Total Pounds of Electronics Recycled Category, recycling a total of 38,316 pounds of electronics in one month! In 2021, 鶹Ƶ also won the Zero Waste Category and the Summary of Waste Reduction Efforts Case Study. Campus Race to Zero Waste is a friendly competition and benchmarking tool for college and university recycling programs to promote waste-reduction activities in their campus communities. 鶹Ƶ at Trumbull proudly announces students who were named to either the President's or Dean's lists for their academic achievements during the Fall 2021 semester.
In recognition of an extremely high level of academic excellence, a President's List is compiled each academic semester. To qualify, students must have a grade point average of 4.00 and must have completed 15 or more letter-graded credit hours (A, B, etc.) by the end of that semester.
The Dean's List features qualifying students possessing a grade point average of 3.40 or greater and must have completed 12 or more letter-graded credit hours (A, B, etc.) by the end of that semester. See the full lists.

TREK KSU - Coming Soon!
New for 2022, 鶹Ƶ faculty and staff at all campus locations can opt into an outdoor hiking/walking program, TREK KSU!
Sponsored by Employee Wellness and the Recreational Services Adventure Center, TREK KSU encourages participants to get outdoors, reap the benefits of movement and fresh air, and develop a passion for nature and exploration.
The cost of the program is $10 for faculty and staff, with the remainder of the cost being subsidized by Employee Wellness. Registration will open in early February, and the cost will include a hiking stick, the TREK KSU flagship medallion, and all subsequent medallions for miles trekked through university-sponsored walking programs, as well as mileage accumulated during your own treks.
All full- and part-time faculty and staff are eligible to join the TREK program. In addition, full-time, benefits-eligible employees can earn points toward Tier 2 of the .

Can I receive my W2 and 1095 C Electronically?
Yes. But you must provide consent. This can be done online any time by accessing Flashline at Flashline.kent.edu and follow these simple steps:
- Login to FlashLine at flashline.kent.edu
- Select Employee, then Resources, then click Tax Forms
- Next, select Electronic W-2 & 1095-C Consent
- Check the boxes indicating consent and click Submit
W2 forms for 2021 income reporting will be available via Flashline on or before Jan. 31, 2022. Questions regarding the W2 may be directed to the Payroll Department at payroll@kent.edu. Flashline access to the 1095-C will be available on or before March 2, 2022. Note that a completed 1095-C is not required to file your income tax return. For questions regarding the 1095-C, you may contact Employee Benefits at benefits@kent.edu.

If you need help with setting health goals, finding motivation, or sticking to your self-care routine, a Be Well Solutions health coach can help! With health coaching, you’ll receive individualized accountability, and you can also earn points toward Tier 2 of the .
Health coaching sessions are confidential and include a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental conversation with a certified coach. Your coach will help guide you through the process of planning, implementing, and maintaining healthy behaviors. You'll receive encouragement and support as you work toward identifying and overcoming your barriers to achieving success.
Health coaching is complimentary and unlimited for full-time, benefits-eligible faculty and staff. The next onsite session is Tuesday, February 8, at Heer Hall on the Kent campus. Virtual coaching is also available.
