University Libraries Exhibits Works of Pulitzer Novelist

University Libraries will exhibit the works of Edith Wharton, Pulitzer prize-winning American novelist, in celebration of her 150th birthday

The works of Pulitzer prize-winning American novelist Edith Wharton are on exhibit at University Libraries on the Kent Campus through Aug. 25University Libraries will exhibit the works of Edith Wharton, Pulitzer prize-winning American novelist, in celebration of her 150th birthday.

The exhibit will run until Aug. 25 and will feature a portrait of Wharton and six of her first-edition novels, including the Pulitzer prize-winning novel The Age of Innocence, with its original dust jacket still intact.

The books in the exhibit are drawn from holdings of Special Collections and Archives, which houses a strong collection of 19th and 20th century American literature. Readers are invited to visit the 12th floor of the library to see other exhibits and to use these collections.
