Richard Frenchie Awarded Leadership Excellence

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center proudly celebrate Richard J. Frenchie for achieving Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

The American College of Healthcare Executives is a professional organization dedicated to the highest standards for executive performance and the betterment of patient care through efficient management of hospitals and related healthcare organization and services.  Being a Life Fellow is reserved for a select group of leading healthcare executives.

In addition, Mr. Frenchie was inducted into the Registry for College and University Presidents.  The Registry provides interim leadership positions in academic settings ensuring trusted and graceful transitioning.  Mr. Frenchie consults on opportunities for such leadership roles.

Mr. Frenchie retired in 2012 following a distinguished career in top leadership positions at University Hospitals spanning more than three decades leaving a legacy of quality, performance excellence, strategic planning and visioning, and advancement of servant leadership. Since retirement is not part of Mr. Frenchie’s DNA, he developed The Frenchie Consulting Group. The group specializes in organizational design and development, leadership development, board governance, strategic planning, financial turnarounds and servant leadership.  He is also an Affiliate Partner for Leadership Excellence with the Healthcare Advisory Network.

Mr. Frenchie currently serves as the Chair of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Advisory Board and serves as an active Trustee of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation Board of Trustees.  He freely gives of his time and expertise while currently serving on thirteen boards including the Arthritis Foundation, Leadership Geauga County, University Hospitals and the Geauga Growth Partnership.
