Awards and Nominations

We look forward to celebrating the next EHHS Hall of Fame Award ceremony on campus in Fall Semester 2024. We invite you to nominate alumni or a respected colleague for one of our Hall of Fame Awards. No self nominations will be considered. Full-time faculty and staff cannot be nominated.

Please note that award nominations are welcome throughout the year, but will only be reviewed every May. Â鶹ÊÓƵ will retain and consider the nominations for three years from first submission.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Centennial Alumni Award

The Centennial Alumni Award is our highest honor bestowed upon a former student who graduated from a program within the college more than fifty years ago. This award recognizes an alumnus that has made significant contributions to society, whose accomplishments and careers have brought honor and distinction to Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and who has advanced the field of education, health, and human services.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumni Award is our highest honor bestowed upon a former student who graduated within the last fifty years from a program within the college. This award recognizes an alumnus who has made significant contributions to society, whose accomplishments and careers have brought honor and distinction to Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and who has advanced the field of education, health, and human services.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Recent Alumni Award

The Recent Alumni Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a former student who graduated within the last ten years from a program within the college. The award recognizes an alumnus who has achieved extraordinary distinction in a career rooted in education, health, and human services.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Diversity Alumni Award

The Diversity Alumni Award recognizes a graduate who has made significant contributions to enhancing diversity and diversity initiatives within the fields of education, health, and human services through outreach, volunteerism, and/or advocacy. The recipient actively helps underrepresented populations gain access to education and/or human and health services and serves as an advocate for diversity programming and initiatives for underrepresented populations in their local community and/or Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services International Alumni Award

The International Alumni Award is given to a former student who was not a U. S. citizen while attending Â鶹ÊÓƵ. The award recognizes an alumnus who has attained (inter)national prominence through his or her efforts in education, health, human services, technology, business, government, or other world endeavors.

Distinguished Service to the College of Education, Health and Human Services

The Distinguished Service Award is our highest honor presented to an alumnus or friend in recognition of his or her outstanding generosity through service, leadership, volunteerism and commitment to the college. These individuals provide meritorious service to the college by through in-kind or philanthropic support that helps serve our students and promotes the mission, vision, and values of Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Alumni Leadership Award

The Alumni Leadership Award is presented to a Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumnus who graduated from a program in the college and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to the community and to his or her profession.
