If you're a veteran returning from recent conflicts, we welcome you. At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, you have access to all of our resources specialized to military students. Use the vast resources on campus to enhance your transition back to school. Our center provides VA benefit certification and other services to enhance your mission at college.

- A one stop shop for VA educational benefits processing for veterans, servicemembers, and dependents.
- Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers priority registration and scheduling for servicemembers and veterans. Students may schedule on day two of early registration, right after students registered with Student Accessibility Services. Please see a CAVS staff member or your academic advisor for details.

Veterans Benefits
The® provides military servicemembers and dependents with significant educational benefits, empowering you to earn an education. Â鶹ÊÓƵ is here to support the program for you.
If you've served in active duty for at least 90 days after September 10, 2001, are still on active duty, or have been honorably discharged (or discharged with a service-connected disability) you could be eligible for benefits.
You can receive up to three years of education benefits after your release from active duty. This GI Bill® for veterans can also include payments for housing, books, and supplies.

Your Benefits as a Student Veteran
If you're a veteran or servicemember enrolling at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, it's important that you understand your rights and opportunities. We are committed to serving our military-connected students so be sure to explore your resources. Follow these steps to get started:
- Submit a copy of your Notice of Basic Eligibility (DD-2384) to the Veterans Certifying Official at the campus you will be attending (for Kent campus, see Contacts page. For regional campuses, see Regional Campuses page).
- Complete the necessary Veterans Administration forms to obtain educational benefits.
- Submit an Intent of Enrollment form at the beginning of each semester you utilize benefits.
- Students must be enrolled in a degree program to receive benefits.
- Students who have a parent or spouse who is 100% disabled, deceased, or a P.O.W. from a service-connected incident may also be eligible for educational benefits.
