Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) is the study of how people develop physically, emotionally and socially within the context of the family and society.  HDFS offers an interdisciplinary approach to individual and family development across the lifespan.

The Counselor Education and Supervision (CES) Program at Â鶹ÊÓƵ is located in the College of Education, Health and Human Services (EHHS). CES is a part of the School of Lifespan Development and Educational Sciences (LDES).

Two types of Master’s degrees are offered. The Master of Education (M.Ed) is the general degree program, appropriate for teachers or trainers. The Master of Arts (M.A.) is a more research-oriented degree for those who intend to write a thesis paper. The Ph.D. program provides extensive expertise in the field of Educational Psychology.
