�鶹��Ƶ Rising Scholars students from various Columbiana County high schools participated in a Harry Potter themed STEM spring workshop at East Liverpool High School in March.

Team LeBron had a big win in the NBA All-Star game and an enormous win for �鶹��Ƶ’s I Promise Scholars, a program that provides higher education opportunities for underserved students in Northeast Ohio.

�鶹��Ƶ’s Giving Tuesday Campaign that began in early November has already received countless gifts including the first-ever in-kind gift and a number of significant planned gifts.

Delonte Goodman, ’22, interned at NASA in high school and is the first member of his family to attend college. He is pursuing a degree in mechatronics engineering while participating in research and serving as a Design Innovation Fellow.

�鶹��Ƶ will establish an Educational Opportunity Center on the Kent Campus to serve 850 low-income adult students and veterans in this region, providing counseling, assistance with financial aid, testing and more.

The Podiatry Foundation has made an historic $10 million donation to �鶹��Ƶ to secure the financial and academic future of Ohio’s only podiatry college – �鶹��Ƶ College of Podiatric Medicine.

Finances had become tight as Ciana White, ’21, was preparing to start the final semester of her senior year. She and her mother worried how they would make the next tuition payment.

“Having scholarships allowed me to devote more time to school and extracurriculars. Scholarships truly change the lives of students like me,” said John McDermott, ’20.

“The Rising Scholars program made it seem like I was made to go to college, that I was smart enough and that I was good enough,” Erin said.

Jacob G. received scholarship support to attend �鶹��Ƶ as an honors student, studying aerospace engineering and physics to pursue his dream of space exploration.
