Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s High-Power Rocket Team was recognized at the 2022 Spaceport America Cup Awards Ceremony for its first place win in the 10,000 ft AGL apogee student researched and developed (SRAD) solid rocket propulsion system.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) recently hosted the Northeast Ohio Manufacturing for EV Conference. This event featured industry experts and focused on the $400 billion electric vehicles supply chain.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Flying Flashes earned three first place prizes at the 45th Annual Air Race Classic held in Lakeland, Florida, in June. The team is composed of Laura Wilson, senior aeronautics major, and Alex Johnson, ’21, Professional Pilot program alumna.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ broke ground on Crawford Hall, future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8. The ceremony was attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests.

Designated spaces in the new Crawford Hall building to be constructed on the Â鶹ÊÓƵ campus to house the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship have been approved by the Board of Trustees.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Giving Tuesday Campaign concluded on Nov. 30 with a record setting $7,712,753+ raised from more than 3,000 donors who generously donated to make the world Forever Brighter for our students.
Delonte Goodman, ’22, interned at NASA in high school and is the first member of his family to attend college. He is pursuing a degree in mechatronics engineering while participating in research and serving as a Design Innovation Fellow.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its month-long celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1.
The largest single philanthropic gift in Â鶹ÊÓƵ history will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new building for the college on the university’s Kent Campus.
