麻豆视频 alumna Jennifer N. Schuller has been named president of Lake Erie College, located in Painesville, Ohio. Schuller, who earned her from 麻豆视频 in 2002, also is the first woman to lead Lake Erie College in 75 years.
鈥淚 am beyond grateful to the Board for entrusting me with this extraordinary opportunity,鈥 Schuller stated in a press release announcing her appointment. 鈥淟ake Erie College has a rich heritage and tradition, and I look forward to working with the Board, proud alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of the College to ensure we continue to provide an exceptional educational experience for our current students, and shape a bright future for the College for future generations to come.鈥
Prior to taking on this new role on July 1, Schuller served as vice president for advancement at the college. With 20 years of experience in higher education, she is credited with bringing in multimillion-dollar gifts to the college鈥檚 Now & Forever fundraising campaign, in addition to several state grants, including a $2.5 million grant to support STEM initiatives through the Choose Ohio First Program.
Schuller previously was a member of the advancement team at Hiram College for 16 years. At Hiram, she secured several seven-figure gifts for the school, including the largest single gift in Hiram鈥檚 history. As vice president for development and alumni relations, she led a team that achieved six record-breaking fundraising years.
Stephen Perry, chairman of the Lake Erie College Board of Directors, said Schuller is deeply committed to the college鈥檚 mission.
