The Child Development Center visits the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry

Students in a preschool class at Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Child Development Center were welcomed by Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for a personalized, hands-on learning experience.

Kara Barnett, the department's senior chemical health and safety coordinator, showed the students how to use chromatography to make butterflies, demonstrated chemical reactions using safe, household ingredients and taught them about the process of sublimation using fun bubbles.
