Countdown to the Eclipse: New Webpage Shares Illuminating Info About Plans for April 8 Eclipse

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has launched a comprehensive new webpage for the upcoming total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8.

Many Â鶹ÊÓƵ campuses and locations will be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse, during which the moon will completely black out the sun for approximately three minutes. On the Kent Campus, the complete blackout will occur at 3:15 p.m. The city of Kent and some of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ campuses and locations are expecting a large number of visitors to converge upon their communities to view this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. As a result, Â鶹ÊÓƵ is canceling in-person classes on April 8 at all Â鶹ÊÓƵ campuses and locations. Online or remote-format classes may continue. Visit the webpage for details.
