Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Awarded Mid-Career Awards from Cleveland Arts Prize

The Cleveland Arts Prize awarded Mid-Career Awards to Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni Alice Ripley and Corrie Slawson. Slawson earned her MFA with a focus in painting from Â鶹ÊÓƵ's School of Art and currently works as a part-time faculty member in painting and drawing for the school. Her work, focusing on "environmental and social equities", has been featured in museums in the U.S. and internationally.

Ripley is a Tony Award winning actress known for originating the role of Diana in "Next to Normal" and plays in her band RIPLEY. She graduated with her BFA in musical theater from Â鶹ÊÓƵ's School of Theatre and Dance.
