Terri Cardy
Biography
I have been a part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community since 2003. I started with supervising student teachers and teaching early childhood education courses, while my own children attended preschool and kindergarten at the Child Development Center. I then became the lead teacher in a preschool classroom at the Child Development Center for 8 years. In the fall of 2013 I became the CDC’s Outdoor Educator. My role is to collaborate with children and classroom teachers to support their work in the outdoors and to provide opportunities for children to strengthen their relationship with the natural world. This includes appreciating, caring for and respecting the outdoor environment. Sustainability is always an underlying focus of our work. I am also interested in actively involving young children in community service work.
