Biography
Lindsay Starkey is an Associate Professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August 2012. Her new book, Encountering Water in Early Modern Europe and Beyond: Redefining the Universe through Natural Philosophy, Religious Reformations, and Sea Voyaging, explores sixteenth-century European conceptions of water.
Dr. Starkey teaches the World History surveys as well as upper-division and graduate courses on medieval and early modern Europe.
