At the School of Fashion, students in the undergraduate Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandisin programs prepare for a career in the international fashion industry. The School's programs balance theoretical with practical studies and require all students to participate in an internship that provides them with essential fashion industry experience.
Through this internship journey, students apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in the classroom in a meaningful, real-life setting. At the same time, they gain insights into the business side of fashion giving them a competitive edge in the market. The School of Fashion partners with businesses utilizing the most current technology and resources, helping students secure internships that will benefit their studies the most. Students gain first-hand experience of progressive industry standards, laying the foundations for success after graduation.

Senior Design Major Addison Farrell interned at EGG New York .“I am extremely grateful for the experience and exposure of the design industry and real-world tasks. I have grown as a fashion student and professional. Working alongside Abby, the head fashion designer for EGG New York, has exposed me to many tasks that must be completed outside of conceptualizing and designing clothes. I worked on organization of sketches, line sheets, style number information, and more that is essential for designs to come to life.”
