Celebrating College Teaching Conference Issues Call for Abstracts

Celebrating College Teaching, sponsored by the University Teaching Council, has issued a call for abstracts for the 24th annual conference to be held on Friday, Oct. 20. This is an open call, but those who received funding from the University Teaching Council are obligated to submit an abstract and present their work.

Proposals will be considered in two divisions: roundtables and poster sessions. Because of the limited number of roundtable spaces, authors may be asked to present in an alternate division. Roundtables will be presented in two 40-minute morning sessions from 9-10:30 a.m. Poster sessions will be presented in an afternoon session from 2-3:30 p.m.

Complete details and submission requirements are available on the University Teaching Council website

Proposal submissions will be peer reviewed by a Celebrating College Teaching conference ad-hoc committee. The deadline for submission is July 1.

Any questions should be directed to Conference Chair Kimberly S. Peer, Ed.D., at kpeer@kent.edu.
