Biography
Bryn Oldham (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in Counselor Education and Supervision at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. She specifically teaches in the Addictions Counseling Certificate Program (ACCP). Ms. Oldham is currently licensed in Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S). Ms. Oldham has experience in clinical mental health counseling, training, and consulting. She has expertise in program implementation, dissemination, and development with specialized certifications to train and facilitate evidence-based cognitive remediation practices for individuals experiencing psychosis. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in the areas of substance use disorders, first and multiple-episode psychosis, cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis, family psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, intimate partner violence, and co-occurring disorders.
Ms. Oldham is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. She is passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health concerns and educating others around severe and persistent mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
