Mentor Spotlight: Drs. Edweana Robinson and Robert L. Haynie

In addition to serving KSUCPM for many years, dynamic doctor duo Edweana Robinson, MD and Robert L. Haynie, MD are busy mentors for student doctors everywhere. Most recently, they’re in the news as such for Case Western Reserve University Medical School student Tamia Potter. Tamia has recently made history in becoming the first Black woman doctor to be offered a highly coveted residency position in neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee!

Tamia attributes much-needed mentorship and support to the two emeritus deans from Case, saying, “These people made sure that I could continue the vision that I saw.”

We are so proud to have these two on team KSUCPM!
