Thomas V. Melillo DPM Scholar
This full tuition scholarship is to recognize and honor the excellent work performed by Thomas V. Melillo, DPM as President of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine from August 1984 to October 2013. The candidate chosen to receive the Thomas V. Melillo, DPM Scholarship must be enrolled in their fourth year at Â鶹ÊÓƵ College of Podiatric Medicine and meet the following criteria: the candidate must demonstrate financial need, be involved in student organization, display community support, and possess clinical excellence. The CPM Scholarship committee will choose the candidate in May of each academic year.
Dr. David H. Gross and Myra E Gross Scholarship
This scholarship will support a deserving KSUCPM student with tuition, room and board, and or books and supplies. The student must demonstrate financial need and complete a FAFSA. The application will be emailed each fall semester and the CPM Scholarship Committee selects the recipient.
APMA Educational Foundation
The APMA Educational Foundation provides several scholarships to third- and fourth-year podiatric medical students. Applicant forms are available in November of each year in the Office of Financial Aid and at . The application deadline is in late April and funds are distributed late summer.
North Central Academy Grant
The North Central Academy of Podiatric Medicine is an affiliate of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association and is credited with providing continuing medical education (CME) programming by the Council on Continuing Podiatric Medical Education of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and other state Podiatric and Medical Boards. Each year the Academy sponsors the North Central Academy Grant for podiatric medical students who are in financial need and display a strong passion for podiatric medicine. Applications are available in February in the Office of Financial Aid and are due in March.
Diversity in Medicine
The college has created a scholarship designed to recognize a student who is committed to diversity within Podiatric Medicine. The student will need to explain in the application how they intend to advance diversity within the field of podiatric medicine. This scholarship award is awarded at the Alumni Reunion Weekend. All currently enrolled KSUCPM students are eligible.
Young Leader Scholarship
The college created a scholarship designed to recognize a student who has made outstanding contributions to the college and the success of their peers as a 1st-year podiatric medical student. This scholarship award is awarded at the Alumni Reunion Weekend.
