Â鶹ÊÓƵ at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 10, during which 34 students were recognized for receiving degrees this year through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.
Dr. Christina Riter, academic program director for the ADN program, presented the 2016 class of graduates, while nursing faculty members presented the students’ pins. Special guests included Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ East Liverpool Campus, and Linda Warino, executive director of the Ohio Nurses Association, District 3.
Warino served as the keynote speaker and also presented the ONA District 3 Lori Grenich Student Nurse Award to Susan Nunzir, recognizing excellence in clinical nursing and professional awareness.
