Words cannot express our gratitude for the time and support you invested in this 53rd season of Kent Blossom Music Festival. This season we were able to:
- Virtually host 19 young artists from around the nation and the world.
- Offer these young artists virtual lessons and masterclasses from The Cleveland Orchestra faculty and Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty.
- Host 2 masterclasses with Kulas Visiting Artists violinist Paul Huang, and flutist Demarre McGill.
- Host 1 masterclass with Venezuelan conductor Rafael Payare thanks to our partnership with The Cleveland Orchestra.
- Offer tickets for our young artists to attend Cleveland Orchestra concerts at Blossom Music Center.
- Present 4 in-person concerts.
- Livestream these concerts through our website, Facebook and YouTube to audiences from at least 30 states and audiences from at least 7 countries including the US, Canada, Taiwan, Brazil, Colombia, and Singapore.
We have included some photos from activities that took place this summer and we hope you enjoy them!
It was so nice seeing you again and reconnecting with you through live music. We have already begun planning for next summer and we look forward to returning full-term and in person.
If you would like to become a host parent or would like additional information on how to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact me at 330-672-0397 or rsepulv1@kent.edu.
Please continue to stay safe and we will communicate later in the Fall with updates regarding KBMF activities throughout the academic year.
With every best wish,
Ricardo Sepúlveda and team
